These are people on the wrong side of the Digital Divide. And every day they lack these tools, it becomes less likely they'll catch up.

Human-I-T
Human-I-T is a nonprofit and social enterprise that creates equitable access to opportunity by providing devices, internet access, digital skills training, and tech support for communities left on the wrong side of the digital divide, while at the same time, empowering businesses and organizations to do good by diverting technology from landfills to protect our planet.
Social Approach
Human-I-T works hand-in-hand with communities across North America to provide access to internet, low-cost devices, digital skills training, and even tech support to individuals on the wrong side of the digital divide.
Environmental Approach
Human-I-T collects unwanted technology (laptops, monitors, routers, modems, smart phones, etc.) from businesses and individuals across the United States. This technology is wiped of all data, refurbished and upgraded, and either redistributed into the community or sold to help fund Human-I-T's digital equity programs.

The National Digital Inclusion Alliance is an organization that helps local organizations working to bridge the Digital Divide, conducts research around the Digital Divide within the US, and advocates for nationwide access to high speed internet connection.
